Regent University’s School of Education is seeking an Assistant Professor for the Curriculum and Instruction programs. This is a full-time instructional, 12-month tenure-track position at Regent University’s main campus in Virginia Beach, VA. The candidate will serve as the Program Director for the Curriculum and Instruction programs at both the master's and postmaster's levels.

Qualifications: an earned doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction or related field. The ideal candidate will have experience as a higher education faculty member with a commitment to best teaching practices and strong organizational skills. The candidate will also have a knowledge of college student persistence, completion, transfer, and access. The candidate's knowledge should also extend to leadership and governance issues in higher education and higher education public policies. This position will have applied and advanced knowledge of research and assessment methodology, curriculum development, and assessment design. Experience working with diverse student populations is required with the ability to teach and evaluate student performances.  The candidate will also have a heart for the personal, spiritual, and professional development of students and faculty.

Expectations include 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses; 4) familiarity with online instructional technology; and 5) a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
