The Administrative Coordinator manages day-to-day academic support activities as well as provides administrative coordination for the Center for Student Happiness (CSH) procedures, scheduling, and core systems. This position will co-supervise key support personnel such as academic coaches and assistants, and provide program, communications, and logistics support to CSH.

Essential duties:

  • Provide administrative support for CSH operations, including onboarding, training, academic support initiatives, and related communications.
  • Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling for coaching personnel and clientele (students, faculty, staff), and managing academic support systems (e.g., appointment scheduler, email, Advise, alerts).
  • Supervise and support coaching personnel, student workers, and temporary staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
  • Develop and facilitate workshops, webinars, and student engagement programs.
  • Serve as the primary CLEP Administrator and supervise and train related personnel.
  • Coordinate special programs such as NPP, faculty requests (e.g., in-class presentations).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a writing-intensive field
  • Must have superior writing skills and excellent oral communication skills
  • Prior experience with academic writing styles, tutoring, and related activities highly preferred
  • Experience organizing resources and creating and implementing office procedures
  • Experience with supervising and training employees
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft 365 and quickly adapt to modern technologies
