The School of Communication and the Arts seeks an Academic Services Manager to work with the Office of the Dean and academic departments to manage administrative programs and projects, support department chairs, and coordinate logistical needs to steward the mission of Regent University and the School.

Essential Duties:

  • Steward the mission of the university, SCA, and all programs and initiatives of the assigned departments, providing key support for on-campus students with needs, supporting on-campus faculty, or addressing needs that come up in the facilities.
  • Provide administrative support for programs and initiatives through SCA Dean's Office.
  • Coordinate logistic and academic needs for programs, projects, and events.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders, including students in the assigned departments.
  • Assist with course monitoring for content and instructor engagement.
  • Maintain and proof course schedules and rotations in the assigned departments.
  • Assist with adjunct instructor assignments and load monitoring.
  • Provide general support for instructor and program assessments.
  • Coordinate travel for guests, student groups, faculty, and job interviews in the assigned departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Must be able to work in a highly independent manner with attention to detail
  • Proven track record of providing excellent customer service
  • Superior experience with Microsoft Office software
  • 3-5 years of professional office environment experience, preferably within a higher education setting
  • Experience with university technology such as Genisys, Banner, Canvas, Astra and Cognos
