Regent University’s School of Business & Leadership is seeking to fill a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position. This position will be located at Regent University’s Virginia Beach, VA campus.

Qualifications:

  • Earned doctorate (Ph.D., DSL, or Ed.D.) in Organizational Leadership, Strategic Leadership, or a closely related field
  • Demonstrated excellence or potential in graduate teaching, scholarly research, publishing/presentation record, and professional leadership practice.
  • Evidence of Christian faith integration and commitment to the spiritual formation of students
  • Familiarity with online education technologies (e.g., Canvas, Zoom) and adult learning pedagogy

Expectations include 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach graduate-level courses; 4) facility with online instructional technology; and 5) a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.

Teaching & Scholarship Expectations

The successful candidate will teach graduate and doctoral-level courses in areas such as:

  • Strategic & Organizational Leadership
  • Servant and Transformational Leadership
  • Organizational Culture and Human Flourishing
  • Organizational Change, Innovation & AI
  • Experience mentoring graduate students, chairing capstone or dissertation projects, and facilitating online learning communities is highly valued.
