We invest in our people.

At TAFE NSW, you will discover a diverse, dynamic, and collaborative environment, where you can innovate, create value, and do meaningful work.

About the role

As a Payroll Officer, your role is valued and vital. You'll be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of fortnightly salary payments, leave requests, and other employee entitlements. You'll work with various Employment Arrangements and conditions, ensuring our employee services and payroll processing functions run efficiently and effectively.

Your keen eye for detail and passion for numbers will shine as you administer, check, and generate reports related to leave and payroll using various HR systems. Building positive working relationships will be second nature to you, and you'll respond professionally and promptly to employee payroll inquiries, always placing the customer and our policies and procedures at the centre of your decision-making.

About You

You will be able to juggle a consistently high-volume workload in a fast paced and agile environment, where resilience, collaboration, and teamwork are at the forefront of successful outcomes.

Demonstrated experience using SAP HR (payroll processing system) and knowledge of ServiceNow (ticket logging system) is desirable but not essential, we will train you!

We are a fun, supportive, and collaborative team that is positioned across various campuses. You will be trained and mentored by a buddy, so must be able to understand instruction remotely from a campus of your choice.
