$132,022 package includes salary ($108,494 - $116,838), employer's superannuation and annual leave loading

TAFE NSW Manufacturing Centres of Excellence

To tackle skill shortages in priority areas, TAFE NSW is launching the TAFE NSW Manufacturing Centres of Excellence (MCoE), which is a joint initiative between the Australian Government and NSW Government under the National Skills Agreement. The MCoE is an agile approach to skills acquisition, connecting industry and education partners to foster innovative training pathways and enhance core manufacturing skills.

About the role

As a Project  Coordinator for Community Engagement, you will work closely with stakeholders to foster strong relationships with both industry and community members.  You will be pivotal in shaping community interactions with the Manufacturing Centres of Excellence (MCoE), supporting engagement strategies aimed at encouraging key community groups to enrol in MCoE microskills and microcredential courses.

The successful candidate must be willing to travel regionally as required to the three MCoE campuses at Newcastle, Wetherill Park and Wollongong.

About You 

You possess exceptional communication skills, are analytical, organized, and a natural problem solver. You thrive on building trusting relationships, collaborating with your team, and taking initiative.  You have proven experience in delivering customer communications and engagement strategies within a large education or training service delivery organization or a similar environment.

To be successful in this role you will hold a:

  •  Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Significant experience relevant to project management and administration and exposure to project management tools and significant competency in Microsoft Excel.

Highly Regarded:

  • Experience in community engagement, including designing and implementing stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to make evidence-based recommendations.
