$84,647 package includes salary ($74,912 - $82,688), employer's superannuation and annual leave loading (pro rata).

About the role

We are looking for individuals with current industry experience and knowledge in the care and husbandry of animals to join our team as a Technical Officer of Animal Care. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of education services through providing care, monitoring and feeding of TAFE NSW animals and ensuring their safety and welfare requirements are met.

This position is based at our Bankstown Campus, with travel required to our Padstow Campus. This is a Permanent Part Time opportunity, and you will be required to work 4 days (28 hours) per week which will include occasional weekend work.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Demonstrated skills and experience in the care and husbandry of animals.  
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or similar) or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience appropriate to the role.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team with minimal supervision.
