About the role

The Video Production Specialist is responsible for producing audio, video and stills content for use across paid and owned marketing channels, corporate communications and/or Ministerial requirements. This may include scripting, pre-production, shooting/filming, post-production (editing, broadcast design, colour-grading, sound-mixing) and deployment.

About You 

You’ll love this role if you… 

  • Are an experienced ‘pr-editor’ (shooter/editor/producer) or a talented specialist filmmaker – camera operator, broadcast designer or editor 
  • Have experience working with Premier Pro, After Effects and the wider Adobe Creative Suite
  • Have TVC/CAD submission experience
  • Can work as part of a team on larger projects and can fly-solo on smaller projects 
  • Enjoy the challenge of working with multiple stakeholders whilst managing complex multimedia projects 

The successful candidate will possess… 

  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience. 
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience as a shooting and editing producer OR specialist camera operator or editor. 
  • Extensive experience filming (lighting, camera operating and capturing audio) 
  • Extensive editing skills and experience with post-production workflows 
  • Photographic skills
  • Animation skills/experience is a bonus
