About the Role

Are you interested in assisting the emergency response of affected communities in the aftermath of a disaster? TAFE NSW is looking for individuals with current emergency management experience to join our team of teachers in delivering a course that skills volunteers on how to expertly manage an emergency scenario.

The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.

About You 

  • Willing to join an exciting team of emergency management teachers
  • Strong experience in emergency management response and coordination of volunteers
  • Industry experience working in crisis management (natural disasters, COVID-19 pandemic etc)
  • Coordinating and working with volunteers to plan and implement emergency responses

Desirable

  • Possession of PUA60120 Advanced Diploma Public Safety (Emergency Management).

Please note that possession of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 is not mandatory to be considered for this position.
