About the role - Childcare at TAFE NSW
Join us as an Early Childhood Educator – Certificate 3 (internally known as Advanced Childcare Worker) where you’ll be at the heart of our Children’s Centre, creating an engaging and inclusive environment for our little learners in a play-based and educational setting.
You’ll collaborate with a fantastic team to plan, implement, and assess exciting activities that help make a lasting impact on the children’s educational journeys.
Our Children’s Centre is open from 8:15 am – 5:15 pm, Monday to Friday, and operates 48 weeks of the year. We close for a refreshing four-week break over Christmas, ensuring our team is ready for another exciting year of learning.
About you
You’re passionate about early childhood education and enjoy working in a team environment. You build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, and are committed to creating a safe, engaging space that supports learning and helps our centre run smoothly.
Essential Requirements:
- Certificate III qualification (ACECQA Approved)
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, and Child Protection - Mandatory Reporting Framework.
- A Current Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance, and ACECQA-approved First Aid certification (including CPR, asthma, anaphylaxis, and diabetes management).
- Demonstrated experience in early childhood services is highly regarded
