Salary package $111,798 - $132,585 (pro rata) – includes base salary ($98,499 - $116,813), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

About the role

We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Health Aged Care & Nursing students!  

Bring your current industry experience and knowledge in Health Aged Care & Nursing and join our vibrant team of Teachers in this exciting position located in our Taree campus.

TAFE Teachers are professional educators who help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The successful candidate in this role will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their best outcomes.

Please note this is a part-time role working 3 days per week, with flexibility in days based on business requirements.

About You

You have the ambition and drive to succeed and mentor your students, passing on your experience and knowledge. You will also have the ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders including industry and students.

We are looking for a passionate and engaged individual who meets the following:

Essential Requirements:  

  1. Bachelor of Nursing (minimum) or equivalent qualification and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse 
  2. Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training. See the candidate support document (here) for details.
  3. Minimum three years relevant post-qualification experience in acute care as a Registered Nurse, gained no longer than five years ago 
  4. Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence
  5. Willingness and ability to travel across delivery locations as required by business needs
