About the role
You will:
- Deliver engaging English, Literacy or Religious Education programs for Years 7–12
- Use contemporary teaching methods including explicit instruction, self-directed learning and co-teaching
- Build positive relationships with students, staff and families
- Use data to inform and improve student learning outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and delivery
You will:
- Be a registered teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
- Have a commitment to Catholic Education and the Catholic Identity.
- Be conversant with and able to use current teaching methodologies including explicit instruction, self-directed learning and co-teaching.
- Display a professional and respectful demeanour and attitude at all times.
- Display evidence of using data to inform and enhance student learning outcomes.
- Display evidence of a team approach to curriculum planning and delivery.
