A Contracts Manager role, built for you 

 

As a Contracts Manager at Built, you’ll manage, coordinate, report on, and advise on all commercial aspects of projects across all built-forms ranging from $100K to $1 billion.

 

Our Contracts Managers are across all commercial aspects of our projects and collaborate with all stakeholders make sure everyone succeeds.

 

The NSW Construction team are currently involved in multiple projects ranging from $50M to $1 billion, with an enthusiastic Contracts Manager invited to join the team immediately on a large project in Sydney’s West.

 

The successful candidate will work with all relevant project staff but most

closely with the incumbents in the following roles as applicable for a project:

 

• Construction Manager
• Project Managers
• Senior Contract Administrators
• Contract Administrators

 

The Contracts Manager will work with and report to the Project Manager on the job.

Here are the essentials you’ll need for this role:

• Possess a relevant building related degree
• Have extensive experience managing contracts on high-end and high-profile fitout projects
• Be quality focused and have the ability to assess risk
• Be able to show longevity with past employers and exemplary references

 

Here’s what else we’re looking for:

 

• You’ll be competent in contract/construction law and statutory and legal obligations for building design and construction. You’ll also understand financial reporting concepts.
• You’ll have experience across various types of projects, such as Design and Construct contracts, Construct Only contracts and construction management contracts using (amended) Standard Form Contracts.
• Your people skills will be first class. You’ll know how to bring everyone together, finding shared goals and aggregating resources to deliver projects and jobs. And you’ll do this by building trusted relationships with your stakeholders.
• You’ll know how to communicate openly and with influence! And you’ll be able to organise and prioritise without compromise.
• Your attention to detail, and ability to be across deadlines, deliverables and contractual elements, will be second-to-none.
