An opportunity, Built for you

As the Sustainability Engineer at Built, you will guide project teams to success through the daily management of sustainability and social impact (SSI) criteria across multiple live building projects.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Lead and embed sustainability and social impact across projects, driving continuous improvement and exceeding SSI targets
  • Develop and implement project-specific sustainability strategies, tools, and processes to improve outcomes
  • Manage sustainability performance, including tracking targets, reporting documentation, and delivery of Green Start/ WELL certification requirements
  • Collaborate with and guide project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to achieve sustainability objectives
  • Build capability through training, mentoring, and staying current on industry trends, tools, and innovations

In this role you will be hands on with the ability to implement change and improve processes and contribute to the success of our project teams.

  • Relevant degree or on-site experience managing sustainability
  • Fluency with Green Star, NABERS, LEED, and WELL rating tools
  • Demonstrated experience in Life Cycle Assessment
