This is an opportunity to join Built's Finance team as a Senior FP&A Analyst, supporting the delivery of meaningful financial insights and disciplined cost management across the business. Working closely with corporate stakeholders and finance leaders, you'll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, reporting and performance analysis that supports informed decision-making and business performance.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for supporting overhead planning, management reporting and financial analysis across Built's corporate functions. This role combines technical FP&A capability with stakeholder partnering, helping managers understand performance, manage costs and plan effectively. 

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare monthly management reporting packs, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Support the annual budgeting process and rolling forecast cycles across corporate cost centres. 
  • Monitor overhead expenditure, identify cost drivers and provide insights into spend performance. 
  • Assist with forecasting, reforecasting and scenario analysis to support business planning. 
  • Coordinate internal cost allocations and recharges across departments and business units. 
  • Partner with cost centre managers and corporate stakeholders to provide clear and actionable financial information.
  • Support the preparation of accruals, reporting and other month-end activities.
  • Contribute to reporting improvements and process efficiencies through the use of financial systems and business intelligence tools

What we are looking for

We are looking for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working with stakeholders and translating data into practical business insights.

  • CA or CPA qualified.
  • Degree qualified in Commerce, Finance, Business or a related discipline. 
  • Strong exposure to FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting. 
  • Experience partnering with business stakeholders and cost centre managers. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to communicate financial outcomes clearly.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting, planning or business intelligence tools.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exposure to construction, project-based or similar commercial environments will be advantageous.
