  • Level 5, $80,236 - $90,420 p.a., plus up to 17% employer superannuation
  • X2 Full-time (36.25 hours per week), ongoing positions available (one based at UniSC Moreton Bay and one at UniSC Sunshine Coast).

The Opportunity

Join UniSC as an IT Support Associate and be the friendly first point of contact across multiple support channels, including phone, email, in-person, and AI chatbot handovers. You’ll deliver exceptional customer service while resolving tech issues and supporting a wide range of IT services. From troubleshooting end-user devices and AV systems to maintaining monitors and campus tech, you’ll provide vital on-site support across UniSC campuses, keeping our digital infrastructure running smoothly and our user experience seamless.

You will

  • support the productivity of the University’s staff, students, and visitors by delivering high quality, responsive IT customer service;
  • provide IT and Audio-Visual support on and off campus to staff, students, and external partners;
  • provide support as requested to remediate any issues experienced with client facing software and hardware.

About you

You are a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to support a diverse range of clients with varying levels of technological experience. Whether assisting users under pressure or collaborating with colleagues, you maintain a collegial and solutions-focused approach, sharing knowledge and contributing to IT team objectives. With your broad technical expertise and ability to work autonomously, you thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ensuring efficient and effective IT support. If you’re a proactive problem solver who enjoys both teamwork and independent challenges, this role is perfect for you!

You will possess:

  • Completion of a relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience, or extensive technical expertise in IT client systems, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training;
  • Technical experience in the configuration, deployment and support of Windows and Macintosh computers; tablets and smart phones in managed and unmanaged environments;
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Administration, PowerShell scripting, and Windows networked environments; and
  • A broad understanding of networking, print services, Audio Visual technology and unified communications.
