The Opportunity

Join our dynamic team and deliver exceptional customer service and seamless clinic operations.  As our Clinic Administration Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, manage inquiries and appointments, and provide vital support to clinical educators and students. You’ll also help keep our clinic environment professional, welcoming, and in line with UniSC policies. You will

  • provide comprehensive reception and administrative support, managing inquiries, appointments, clinic resources, and operations while maintaining efficiency and confidentiality;
  • ensure high-quality customer service to all stakeholders, upholding professionalism and supporting clinic functionality in line with UniSC policies; and
  • contribute to continuous improvement efforts, assists with orientation processes, and supports clinical educators and students with clinic software.

About you

You’re a reliable and approachable team member with a strong sense of organisation and a genuine desire to provide great service. You’re confident handling day-to-day admin tasks, can manage your time well, and stay calm under pressure. You have clear communication skills and enjoy working with a range of people, from students and staff to clients and visitors. You understand the importance of professionalism and confidentiality, and you’re someone who uses good judgement, takes initiative, and approaches every task with care and attention to detail.

You will possess:

  • completion of an associate diploma level qualification with relevant work-related experience, or an equivalent alternate combination or relevant knowledge;
  • proven experience in reception and/or clinical roles, with a commitment to delivering high-quality client service in a professional environment;
  • effective data entry with highly developed computer literacy, including proficiency in client management software, file management and record-keeping. Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) along with a demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies quickly;
  • demonstrated ability to contribute to process development and continuous improvement efforts, identifying and implementing solutions to enhance clinic operations;
  • ability to work effectively within a team environment and collaborate with clinic staff, students, and broader University departments; and
  • demonstrated flexibility and resilience in adapting to changing needs and circumstances, with a robust ability to work independently, make decisions, exercise initiative, and escalate issues when necessary.
