The Opportunity
Join a collaborative team dedicated to enhancing learning and teaching at UniSC. In this dynamic role, you’ll support academic staff through professional development, curriculum design, and innovative teaching practices. With a focus on empowering both ongoing and casual educators, you’ll champion inclusive, engaging learning experiences, blending pedagogical expertise, authentic assessment design, and digital innovation to support student success. You’ll also contribute to the Centre’s broader work in scholarship, curriculum renewal, and professional learning.

You will
- coordinate, design and deliver academic development and recognition programs;
- provide high level advice and support in curriculum review and accreditation; and
- manage strategic priority projects and other team members within the Centre.
About you
Your excellent interpersonal skills and consultative approach allow you to build strong, credible relationships with academic staff and leaders. These skills, combined with your advanced knowledge of innovative pedagogy, enable you to influence and support enhanced learning and teaching across the University.
You will possess:
- Post-graduate qualifications or significant progress towards post-graduate qualifications in a relevant field and/or extensive relevant experience and demonstrated expertise. Hold an Advance HE, Higher Education Academy Fellowship in recognition of expertise in learning and teaching;
- Demonstrated leadership and expertise in the design, management, delivery and evaluation of effective professional learning programs and institutional capacity-building activities informed by current research to enhance quality practice and scholarship across the University;
- Experience leading a team to provide quality learning and teaching and curriculum and assessment design and development support to academic staff to promote excellence in learning and teaching in online and blended learning environments;
- Demonstrated experience and success in leading and facilitating grants, awards and fellowships and managing other programs that reward and recognise excellence in learning and teaching; and
- Successful teaching experience in a higher education setting including experience in the use of Canvas or a comparable learning management system.
