The Opportunity
In this leadership role, you’ll lead the Engagement & Innovation Services team, our key connection point between IT and the wider University. Bringing together business partners, analysts, enterprise architects and innovation engineers, you’ll guide the team to understand strategic goals, uncover future-focused opportunities, and ensure we deliver smart, sustainable technology and innovation solutions. You’ll champion collaboration with stakeholders across UniSC to shape enterprise architecture, strengthen business partnerships, and support innovation from idea through to implementation. You will
- lead enterprise architecture and business analysis practices that align our people, processes and technologies with UniSC’s strategic goals;
- lead innovation, AI, and automation by identifying strategic opportunities and gaps. Deliver transformative solutions that drive improvement and elevate organisational performance ; and
- foster strong relationships across the University to shape trusted IT strategies and solutions that support long-term success.

You will possess:
- Experience working with complex enterprise systems and shaping strategic plans that drive meaningful outcomes.
- Technical expertise across Microsoft technologies in hybrid cloud/on-prem environments, including Windows and Linux.
- A creative, practical approach to aligning business needs with technology using design thinking and innovation.
- Strong knowledge of compliance, cybersecurity and legislation relevant to Australian universities.
- Proven ability to engage and influence across large organisations, with a focus on building trusted relationships.
- Confident leadership and team development skills that bring out the best in others.
- Practical knowledge of key frameworks such as ITIL, Agile, TOGAF, and more.
- Clear, thoughtful communication, grounded in empathy, respect and professionalism.
