The Opportunity
International at UniSC plays a pivotal role in expanding the University’s global presence, fostering cultural diversity, and strengthening international partnerships and pathways. Working across recruitment, admissions, compliance and global engagement, the team is committed to delivering an outstanding international student experience while supporting UniSC’s strategic growth ambitions.
As International Business Development Coordinator, you will contribute to the development and delivery of targeted international recruitment strategies across allocated markets, with primary responsibility for the onshore market. You will build and maintain strong relationships with education agents and stakeholders, provide market intelligence and performance insights, and support initiatives that drive student recruitment growth, conversion outcomes and return on investment. Representing UniSC both onshore and occasionally offshore, you will play a key role in promoting the University’s brand and strengthening its global reputation.
You will
- contribute to the development and implementation of international student recruitment strategies and market engagement activities;
- build and maintain strong relationships with education agents, partners and prospective students to support recruitment and conversion outcomes;
- provide market intelligence, reporting and performance insights to inform strategic decision-making and growth opportunities; and
- represent UniSC at recruitment events and activities while upholding brand integrity and delivering exceptional stakeholder engagement.
About you
You are a relationship-focused and culturally capable professional with experience in international education, student recruitment or business development. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, building meaningful stakeholder connections, and using market insights to drive successful outcomes. With strong communication skills and a proactive approach, you can manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality service and achieving targets.
You will possess:
- Completion of a relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Demonstrated knowledge of international student recruitment, admissions processes and/or international education pathways;
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret market trends and performance data;
- Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder engagement and cross-cultural communication skills;
- Proven ability to manage priorities, work independently and achieve targets in a dynamic environment; and
- The ability to represent UniSC professionally while building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
