Job Summary $71,355-81,939 / year or higher DOQ + Full-Time County Benefits Performs experienced engineering work reviewing plans of developments associated with the County’s Chesapeake Bay Act, erosion and sediment control, drainage, floodplain, stormwater management and private street programs, and addressing citizen concerns and performing administrative duties. There are three levels of Civil Engineer distinguished by the level of work performed and the qualifications of the employee. Civil Engineer I: $71,355 / year or higher DOQ |
Responsibilities • Performs thorough plan of development reviews as required for the County’s Chesapeake Bay Preservation Area, Virginia Erosion and Sediment Control (VESCP) and Virginia Stormwater Management (VSMP) Programs. |
Qualifications: • Must possess, or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire, a valid Virginia driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record based on James City County criteria. |
