Job Description The Office of the Provost is seeking candidates for Assistant Provost of the newly formed Office of Graduate Affairs. Radford University’s Assistant Provost for Graduate Affairs will be a strategic and collaborative leader with a passion for advancing graduate education and supporting the success of graduate students. As the leader of the Office of Graduate Affairs, the Assistant Provost will be responsible for creating a strategic plan for the newly formed unit that builds on the success of our current graduate programs and creates a vision for the future, aligned with Radford University’s mission. The Assistant Provost will work closely with faculty, staff, and administrators to enhance and develop initiatives that promote academic excellence, student engagement, and professional development. The Assistant Provost will be familiar with the array of Radford University’s graduate and professional programs and will support creative expansion of excellent graduate programs at all sites and in all modalities. The Assistant Provost will report directly to the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, and will work closely with all members of the Academic Affairs Leadership Team and other partners across campus to ensure the excellence of our graduate education. |
Required Qualifications • At least two years’ experience in higher education administration, with a focus on graduate education; |
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience supporting the development of graduate curriculum across multiple modalities; |
