Job Description Radford University invites applicants for a full time temporary faculty position in physics, subject to budgetary approval. This is a full-time, one-year, non-tenure track position at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor. A master’s degree in astronomy or physics is required; a Ph.D. is preferred. The successful applicant will be expected to teach courses in astronomy, physics, math, and/or physical science with emphasis on the ability to teach introductory level courses. Excellence in teaching is expected as well as a demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals. Required Qualifications Candidates must hold a masters degree or higher in physics or related field completed before the August 10, 2025, start date. |
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with previous teaching experience at the college level. |
