Job Description Position responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in Introductory Physics, General Astronomy, or Physical Science, or associated areas of expertise. Adjunct faculty may be expected to teach lectures and/or labs for assigned courses. Most courses will be in person, though online courses occasionally may be offered.

Required Qualifications All faculty must hold at least a Master’s degree in the field/discipline in which they are teaching, with 18 hours of coursework related to the course(s) being taught. In some cases, subject to approval by the Provost, a faculty member may be recommended for appointment based on substitution of significant experience for the degree. |
Preferred Qualifications: A Master’s degree or higher Physics, Astronomy, or related field. |
