Job Description The Department of Interior Design and Fashion welcomes applications for adjunct teaching. Positioned may be needed in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Merchandising and Design Foundations. |
Required Qualifications All faculty must have at least a Master's degree in the field/discipline in which they are teaching, with 18 hours of coursework related to the course(s) being taught. In some cases, subject to the approval by the Provost, a faculty member could be recommended for appointment based on the substitution of experience for the degree. |
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience teaching. Prior design industry experience and or licensing and certifications. |
Special Instructions to Applicants Applicants must submit an unofficial copy of their transcripts of post-secondary courses with the application. If the applicant’s official transcripts are on file in the Office of the Provost, a statement indicating such, must be submitted in lieu of the documents with the application. Official transcripts of all post-secondary coursework will be required upon selection for hire. |
