Job Description

The Associate Director of Financial Aid Reporting plays a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape for our institution. This dynamic position oversees the meticulous preparation, submission, and analysis of vital financial aid data and reports, ensuring compliance with both state and federal regulations.

As a key leader in managing the institution's participation in various financial aid programs, the ideal candidate will bring exceptional technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a talent for interpreting complex regulatory frameworks. The perfect fit for this role will have a solid background in federal financial aid reporting tools, a deep understanding of federal Title IV programs, and familiarity with state grant programs and financial aid compliance standards. Proficiency in financial aid software and the Microsoft Office Suite is not just necessary but essential for success.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with federal financial aid reporting tools (e.g. COD, NSLDS, FSA, etc.).

• Familiarity with federal Title IV programs, state grant programs, and financial aid compliance standards.

• Proficiency in financial aid software (e.g. PeopleSoft, Banner, Ellucian, Cognos) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate reports.

• Demonstrated understanding of state and federal financial aid reporting, including the FAFSA, FISAP, and IPEDS reporting.

• Experience working in a high-paced customer service environment.

• Master's degree or equivalent education and work experience at a level equivalent to a Master's degree. Demonstrated relevant experience in Financial Aid or related field, or equivalent education, training, and experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to generate reports utilizing report writing tools.
