Job Summary The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Colorado College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience with specialization in Applied Psychology to begin Fall 2027. The successful candidate will have expertise in applying psychology beyond academics and may specialize in any subdiscipline (e.g. health psychology, social work, community psychology, forensic psychology, etc.). The candidate will teach courses across the psychology curriculum, including Introduction to Psychology, methodology courses, and courses in their area of specialty. They will also establish a robust research program that includes undergraduate students as collaborators.

Minimum Qualifications Ph.D. in Psychology or related discipline by the start of employment. |

Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate must exhibit the potential for excellence in teaching to a diverse community of undergraduate students. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience and demonstrated success in bringing psychological research to non-academic settings, and who can support students doing so as well. |
