Job Summary The Academic Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative, operational, financial, and programmatic support for the Film and Media Studies Department. Serving as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors, this position coordinates departmental operations, academic scheduling, faculty personnel processes, event logistics, and financial administration. The role supports the successful delivery of academic programs, faculty initiatives, and departmental events through effective organization, collaboration, and stewardship of departmental resources while fostering a welcoming and professional environment. |

One year of relevant work experience may be substituted for one year of required education (OR) one year of relevant academic coursework beyond the minimum requirement may be substituted for one year of required professional experience. |
