We’re looking for a Student Finance Adviser join the Operations team. Reporting to Student Services Team Lead, this role is responsible for providing information and resolving issues in relation to student fees and general enquiries. 

About the role 

You will play a key role in the provision of outstanding service through phone, email and face-to-face interactions, ensuring all students are supported with accurate advice and information relevant to all transactions related to studying at UTS College. The role requires exceptional customer service skills, knowledge of UTS College programs, student- facing systems, support services and the admission and enrolment process.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely management of finance functions related to student fees, including but not limited to Student invoicing, fee increases and adjustments, processing refunds, providing support to students with outstanding fees
  • Ensuring advice and information is appropriately delivered and of an exceptionally high standard
  • Liaising with other UTS College departments regarding student enrolment, leave, transfers and refunds, as appropriate
  • Proposing changes to processes to improve efficiency and student satisfaction
  • Following appropriate guidelines and measures for complaints handling, with regular feedback and reporting mechanisms
  • Comply with all legislative requirements and UTS College Policies and Procedures, including ESOS, Code of Conduct and Health & Safety, and receive ongoing training
  • Support ad hoc student requests to process enrolment documents and Confirmation of Enrolments, in addition to course transfers, withdrawals and variations in line with legislative and UTS College policies and procedures

 

About you 
You will have:

  • Experience in a Student Finance function, with the ability to provide high quality support
  • Student/customer service experience and capability to build positive and effective stakeholder relationships
  • Advanced computer literacy and experience working with a range of systems and applications
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Able to work with minimal supervision according to strict deadlines.
  • A valid Working with Children Check
