The Role:

Benetas Community Health and Care (CHC) provides a diversity of services to Benetas clients. These services include individual in-home support to clients living in the community through Commonwealth funding, Support at Home, Veterans Home Care, respite services and private in home care services with our office located in Blackburn.

The regional Operational teams servicing metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria within Benetas Home Care are supported by the Regional Business Manager for each region, and are responsible for an individual client’s needs.

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred support to older clients in their own home
  • Assist with the development and implementation of flexible and holistic care plans
  • Coordinate services in partnership with clients, families, and the Benetas team
  • Support clients with their understanding of budgets and maximise use of available resources
  • Promote independence and informed decision-making by providing clear and relevant information
  • Identify and report any changes or risks in client health or wellbeing
  • Advocate for clients and liaise with external service providers as needed
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation in line with compliance standards

About You:

  • A genuine passion for supporting older people to live their best lives
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
  • A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Community Services, or equivalent experience
  • An understanding of client-directed care and aged care quality standards
  • Intermediate computer skills and ability to navigate client management systems
  • A current Victorian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
  • A valid Police Check and current First Aid Certificate
  • Respect for diversity and the ability to build trust with clients and their families
