The Role

Due to the retirement of the incumbent, we are looking for experienced Credit Collection Specialist to join our Finance team in a permanent full-time role, based at our Support Office in Hawthorn East. Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Calling our clients and/or their families to follow up on their outstanding invoice payments 
  • Complete accounts receivable account reconciliations 
  • Investigate and resolve accounts receivable invoice queries 
  • Assist with creating and sending invoices 
  • Improve the Debt collection process and set up processes for our different facets of clients - HomeCare, Residential Care and Retirement Living 

About you

We're ideally looking for someone with:

  • Ample experience in accounts receivable role - preferably for an aged care business 
  • Demonstrated experience in debt collection 
  • Well-developed methods for ensuring a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong computer literacy and intuition to problem solve 
  • Ability to work autonomously within a team environment 
  • Fast learner, reliable and ethical
