The Role
- Clinical Nurse Consultant
- Permanent full time located in Traralgon
- $61 per hour / $120k per annum + not for profit salary packaging up to $18,600 per annum
- Approx 9am-5pm Monday to Friday (some afterhours may be required on occasion)
We are looking for experienced and clinically strong registered nurse (RN) to join our Dalkeith Gardens aged care home in Traralgon as a Clinical Nurse Consultant. Home to 112 residents, this modern apartment style home boasts a positive reputation in the area and is managed by long standing and experienced leader.
- Provide and coordinate clinical residential care including case management involving families and other health professionals, evidence-based analysis clinical decision, care planning, incident management, and analysing clinical and quality indicators
- Be responsive to resident's care through tailoring holistic care to meet their individual needs
- Oversee the day-to-day tasks as they relate to the provision of clinical care including up to date records and assessments
About you
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Respective career as an RN, and a current AHPRA registration
- Very strong clinically, and ideally with experience in applying specialist gerontic knowledge including palliative and dementia care, complex health
- Knowledge of national accreditation standards and apply this knowledge on a day-to-day basis
- Good understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration
- The ability to show empathy, treat others with dignity and respect, and create genuine connections with clients, families and team members
