The Role
Step into a role where your clinical expertise shapes the future of aged care learning and practice. The Clinical Education Lead at Benetas is a senior specialist role that designs and drives clinical capability uplift across our residential, community and home-based services so older Victorians can truly live their best life.
Why this role matters
As Clinical Education Lead, you will own and evolve Benetas’ Clinical Education Framework, ensuring our nurses and care employees have the skills, confidence and support to deliver safe, person-centred, contemporary care. Your work will directly enhance service quality, reduce clinical risk and support compliance with aged care standards, using data and research to inform every initiative.
This role is a full-time, 12-month fixed term role due to an internal promotion.
What you will be doing
- Lead the design, development and delivery of evidence-based clinical education solutions for current and aspiring nurses and care employees, aligned with legislation, aged care standards and operational needs.
- Manage and continually improve the Benetas Clinical Education Framework through stakeholder co-design, learning needs analysis and evaluation of learning impact.
- Coordinate and oversee key programs including Transition to Practice and Infection Prevention and Control Lead programs, supporting clinician engagement and completion.
- Build clinical communities of practice, forums and toolbox resources that foster a strong culture of learning, reflection and continuous improvement.
- Partner with internal leaders and external education providers to grow a vibrant learning community and promote excellence in person-centred, inclusive care
About you
You are a clinically credible education professional who can translate complex clinical, health and operational learning needs into practical, engaging learning. You bring aged care clinical experience, high-level communication and facilitation skills, and a track record of implementing and evaluating clinical learning in multi-site organisations. You will have:
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Experience developing and delivering contemporary education, using research, best practice and data, for aged care workers.
- Familiarity with various learning modalities including eLearning Strong consultation skills and project and change management capability, with the ability to manage a diverse portfolio and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to engage and influence senior leaders, managers and frontline staff through coaching, collaboration and thought leadership.
- Commitment to your own continuous professional development; postgraduate qualifications in Nursing and/or Education are desirable.
