The Role

We are looking for experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) for our beach view, Corowa Court Residential Home, in Mornington home to 120 residents. Take a virtual tour of your new potential workplace here

  • Provide excellent, resident-focused care in relation to specialised nursing needs, such as management of diabetes, wounds, infections, pain and medications
  • Lead and mentor care teams to deliver high-quality services and support continuous improvement
  • Apply specialist knowledge of aged care standards, legislation, and clinical best practice
  • Manage care planning, case management, and incident reporting to maintain health and wellbeing
  • Promote dignity, privacy, and positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
  • Support staff development through coaching, orientation, and fostering harmonious team culture
  • Analyse clinical and quality indicators to drive improvements in care outcomes
About you
  • Expertise in gerontic nursing, including dementia and palliative care and current registration as a Division 1 Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Strong knowledge of aged care standards, legislation, and safe medication administration
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and develop clinical teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) and care planning processes
  • Demonstrated ability to work semi-autonomously and make sound clinical decisions
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance ID or the ability to obtain
