The Role 

We are looking for an experienced Laundry Assistant to join our St. Paul’s team: 

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of laundry equipment, washing instructions and cleaning methods 
  • Demonstrate awareness of legislative requirements relevant to the position including Occupational Health & Safety 
  • Be responsive to the needs of residents by tailoring services to meet individual needs 
  • Ensure efficient use of laundry materials and resources Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation 
  • Can be available any day of the week

 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will need: 

  • Previous experience working with older people in a comparable setting (desirable) 
  • Demonstrated positive, courteous and client-focused behaviour 
  • Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently 
  • Understanding of infection control and hygiene standards 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
