About the opportunity
Are you passionate about simplifying complex problems and helping people work more effectively? Do you enjoy identifying problems, analysing processes and helping people find simpler, more effective ways of working?

We are looking for a Process Improvement Specialist to support process improvement initiatives across NSW SES.

In this role, you will work with stakeholders to understand current ways of working, identify opportunities for improvement, design practical future-state processes and help embed improvements across the organisation. You will contribute to initiatives that reduce duplication, improve consistency and make it easier for staff and volunteers to deliver their roles.

You will use tools and approaches such as Nintex Process Manager, Power BI, automation technologies and emerging AI capabilities to improve efficiency, reduce duplication and strengthen organisational capability.

About you
To be successful in this role you will:

• have experience leading process, continuous or business improvement initiatives, including mapping and analysing processes, identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical solutions;
• have experience facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders to understand business needs, translating complex requirements into clear, documented and fit-for-purpose processes;
• use data, technology and digital solutions to identify improvement opportunities, measure outcomes, support decision-making and enhance business processes;
• build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively across diverse teams;
• demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to influence outcomes and drive change;
• be passionate about continuous improvement and creating better experiences for members and communities.
