Location: Perth Airport Depot

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to plan, schedule and ensure smooth operations by leaning on their experience in a similar role within the transport and logistics sector. If you’re ready to contribute to a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with customers by managing enquiries via phone and email and resolving issues in line with company procedures.
  • Coordinate bookings, consignment notes, manifests, and freight movements with transport providers, internal teams, and the yard to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Investigate and resolve freight discrepancies, ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures while consistently meeting customer KPIs.
  • Communicate inbound and outbound service delivery requirements to Centurion operational departments and customers, including prioritisation of services and providing accurate ETAs when delays occur.
  • Action POD (Proof of Delivery) requests from customers by liaising with relevant departments and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and ensure invoicing is completed promptly and in accordance with company protocols.
  • Investigate, follow up on, and close out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) in line with company procedures.
  • Support the Contract Manager in fulfilling contract requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement, and performing ad hoc duties as required.

Skills and Experience: 

  • Previous experience in a similar position (transport and logistics experience is desirable)
  • Previous experience in transport and logistics roles, with knowledge of TMS systems and metro area operations being desirable.
  • Proficiency in data entry, tracking systems, scheduling, and maintaining accurate records, along with basic knowledge of warehousing and ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Pronto.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), critical thinking, creative problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to work independently and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Capability to address service issues effectively while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
