Position Available: Low Loader Driver - Specialised Roadtrain Driver (OD Tyres)

Location: Mackay

About the Role: 

As a driver at Centurion, you'll play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers. We're seeking skilled drivers who are committed to excellence and share our passion for delivering outstanding service. 

Your roster will be Monday to Friday with some weekend work expected. Being a part of our Heavy Haulage team, your key responsibilities will be:

• Safe and efficient transportation of OSOM loads from Mackay to the Bowen Basin.
• Safely restrain, load and unload tyres using our job specific designed trailers.
• Complete daily vehicle pre-start checks and administrative paperwork.
• Take care of and maintain housekeeping of vehicles and trailing equipment under your care.
• Comply with customer and site requirements.
• Comply with all safety requirements, state legislation, fatigue management, road rules and regulations.
• Comply with Centurion company policies and procedures.

As the successful applicant, you will ideally have:

• Current unrestricted MC licence. 
• Current MSIC card or willing to obtain one.
• Previous experience restraining and transporting OSOM loads.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of OSOM legislation and standards.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of road transport legislation.
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team.
• High regard for safety.
• Current Forklift Licence is advantageous. 
• Ability to work flexible hours when required.
