Location: Richlands QLD

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Business Analyst to play a key role in our IT team. If you're ready to make a significant impact and contribute to driving efficiency, innovation, and excellence across our organisation, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of our systems, processes, and data requirements.
• Analyse current business processes to identify areas for improvement, focusing on streamlining workflows and boosting efficiency.
• Communicate new features and business requirements to development team via user stories and facilitate solution design
• Maintain in-depth understanding of systems, processes, and data requirements, ensuring documentation is up-to-date.
• Reverse engineer software to refine logic and enhance system performance and reliability.
• Act as a liaison for new feature requests, prioritizing and communicating requirements to development teams.
• Evaluate off-the-shelf and custom solutions to meet business needs, considering cost and scalability.
• Drive adoption of new processes and systems, addressing concerns and providing support during implementation.
• Facilitate and participate in Agile software delivery ceremonies and follow Agile practices
• Travel to other sites in Brisbane and branches within Australia from time to time will be required.

Skills and Experience: 

• Full working rights and located in Brisbane, Australia (or existing plans to relocate, please provide your arrival date in Brisbane in your application.)
• At least 4 years' experience as an IT Business Analyst
• Degree-level qualification in business/commerce and/or information systems
• Stakeholder engagement, communications, and change management
• Facilitate workshops and requirements elicitation
• Process mapping and Business Process Improvement
• Change Management and Stakeholder Communications
• Microsoft SQL Server and Data Modelling
• Project Management experience desirable
• Experience with business analysis tools such as Atlassian JIRA, MIRO, and design tools such as Figma etc will be highly regarded
