About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance and Training Coordinator to play a key role in our team. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing NHVAS and customer compliance, coordinating transport documentation and procedures, conducting internal audits, and ensuring adherence to all legislative and safety requirements across the region. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide support for compliance and Training oversight, including NHVAS, customer compliance, vehicle inspections, and systems auditing.
  • Ensure all documents, policies, and procedures are current and aligned with state and national regulations.
  • Immediately report any incidents, hazards, or compliance concerns to the direct supervisor.
  • Ensure all road transport activities comply with relevant legislative requirements, by supporting both Compliance and Operation Teams.
  • Participate in internal audits to verify compliance with safety management systems and standards.
  • Manage accurate record-keeping and document control across all activities.
  • Support the monitoring and review of driver fatigue management practices to ensure compliance with both internal protocols and external regulations.

Skills and Experience: 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar compliance or auditing role within the transport industry.
  • Strong understanding of transport documentation, compliance policies, and procedures.
  • Dangerous Goods experience is preferred but not essential.
  • knowledge of NHVR legislative requirements and relevant accreditations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • experience in NHVAS compliance, vehicle inspections, and systems auditing preferred but not essential.
