About the Role:

As a Forklift Operator with Centurion Transport, you’ll join our Network Team in a permanent role based at our Townsville depot. You’ll operate various Forklifts handling General Freight including palletised and oversized freight in a busy Depot environment.

Working a Day Shift, you’ll be responsible for loading, unloading and securing freight safely and efficiently, using equipment and load restraint methods as part of daily operations.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in safe load restraint, accuracy and teamwork.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate various forklifts
• Handle general, ugly, palletised and oversize freight
• Secure loads in line with the Load Restraint Guide
• Scan and track freight across all stages (received, staged, loaded and unloaded)
• Prepare outbound freight for safe and secure dispatch
• Use RF scanners to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Work closely with drivers and yard teams to keep freight moving

What You’ll Bring

• Current LF Forklift Licence with practical experience
• Proven experience handling freight, loading and unloading trucks
• Prior experience with load restraints
• Previous yard hand, warehouse or similar experience
• RF scanner experience (highly regarded)
• Ability to follow direction, work in a team and prioritise safety
