About the Role

Centurion is seeking a Warehouse/Freight Officer in Alice Springs to join our operations team. You’ll be responsible for receiving, checking, labeling, scanning, and preparing freight for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and safety at every step. The role involves manual handling up to 15 kg, accurate data entry, and close teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Receive and process incoming freight, checking contents against orders for accuracy and quality
• Label goods correctly, including identifying dangerous items where required
• Scan and stage items in the correct areas
• Prepare outgoing freight, ensuring safe packing and secure dispatch
• Enter freight data accurately into systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Pronto
• Report any discrepancies or issues to the relevant team members

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or fast-paced operational role
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work in a team
• Capacity to lift and carry items up to 15 kg
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Computer literacy: SAP experience preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and comply with workplace procedures.
