Workshop Supervisor
You will oversee daily workshop operations in a transport and logistics environment, ensuring work is planned, scheduled, and completed safely, on time, and to standard. The role involves leading staff, managing workflow, and maintaining compliance and efficiency across the workshop.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Allocate and oversee workshop jobs
- Prioritise repairs to minimise fleet downtime
- Supervise staff and ensure quality workmanship
- Ensure accurate job cards and documentation
- Maintain OH&S compliance and safe work practices
- Monitor workshop condition, equipment, and security
- Support and lead workshop staff
Skills and Experience:
- Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and workshop management skills
- High attention to detail with compliance and paperwork
- Good communication and organisation skills
- Ability to read work orders and parts information
- HR licence (essential)
- Forklift licence (preferred)
- Experience with Cummins Insite or Mack systems (advantage)
- Australian work rights
