About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced and analytical Senior Contracts and Rates Analyst to join our Finance team based in Welshpool.

In this role, you will play a key part in managing customer rate structures, fuel levy processes, pricing analysis, and contract administration across the business. Working closely with both internal stakeholders and offshore support teams, you will ensure rates are accurately configured, maintained, and applied within Centurion’s systems to support commercial performance and operational efficiency.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex data, pricing models, and contract information while collaborating across multiple departments to drive accuracy and continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain customer rise and fall processes, including pricing adjustments and calculations
  • Administer customer and subcontractor fuel levy processes and ensure compliance
  • Oversee customer rate card configurations and identify pricing discrepancies or revenue leakage
  • Support offshore Rates Analysts with escalations and system configuration queries
  • Conduct audits of customer rate cards and pricing structures within the rates system
  • Perform contract-related pricing calculations and commercial analysis
  • Coordinate General Rate Increase (GRI) processes for non-contracted customers
  • Liaise with Business Support and IT teams to resolve system or pricing-related issues
  • Maintain accurate contract and pricing information across internal systems
  • Provide reporting, insights, and recommendations to support commercial decision-making
  • Respond to pricing and contract enquiries from internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements

 

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Rates Analyst, Contracts Analyst, Pricing Analyst, or similar commercial role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience working with pricing models, rate cards, and contract administration
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and data analysis
  • Strong understanding of commercial and contract management principles
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience within transport, logistics, or related industries is highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Information Systems, or related discipline preferred
