We are seeking an Apprentice Boilermaker to join our Perth workshop team. Working alongside qualified tradespeople, you will gain hands-on experience in the fabrication, welding, repair and maintenance of trucks, truck bodies and associated fleet equipment.

You will develop your skills in metal fabrication, structural repairs and workshop practices while contributing to keeping Centurion’s fleet safe, reliable and operational.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist with welding, fabrication and repairs on trucks, truck bodies and fleet equipment.
• Perform cutting, grinding, drilling and fitting of metal components.
• Assist with structural repairs, modifications and body building tasks.
• Read and interpret drawings, measurements and job requirements.
• Learn and apply fabrication techniques using workshop tools and equipment.
• Assist with repairs to chassis, frames and vehicle components.
• Complete work to quality standards and workshop procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.

What You’ll Bring

• Currently undertaking, or willing to undertake, a Boilermaker apprenticeship.
• Interest in welding, fabrication and working on trucks and fleet equipment.
• Previous workshop, fabrication or mechanical experience (desirable).
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Full Australian working rights.
