The School of Public Health at Virginia Commonwealth University is recruiting a pool of adjunct faculty for the 2025-2026 academic year. This pool will be utilized on an as-needed basis. Your application will remain active for a year; you may resubmit your application for the subsequent years. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Meet all designated course instruction guidelines.
• Grade assignments and exams in a timely manner based on instruction/rubric provided.
• Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours. 
• Submit final grades according to School/Department policy. 
• Responsibilities: Teaching Lecture courses.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Health Policy, Biostatistics or related field. 
• Demonstrated experience and flexibility working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member of VCU.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Public Health, Epidemiology, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Health Policy, Biostatistics or related field. 
• Demonstrated experience teaching Public Health courses.
