Position Responsibilities:

•  Attend to all facilities with integrity and attention to detail.
•  Create a clean and orderly environment.
•  Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash
  removal.
•  Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
•  Porter, clean and deep clean event spaces, dining areas, offices and outdoor spaces at all
  USC facilities.
•  Perform floor work on a variety of surfaces. Notify supervisors of any damage, deficits
  and disturbances.
•  Check stock levels of all consumables and replace them when appropriate.
•  Perform housekeeping duties during special events.
•  Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
•  Perform housekeeping tasks to ensure sanitation and cleanliness using standard cleaning
  methods and appropriate housekeeping equipment.
•  Ensure member’s safety when performing work and use appropriate signage to notify
  members of work being performed.
•  Obtain appropriate training to ensure proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
•  Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor. 
  Required Qualifications:
•  Ability to perform a variety of housekeeping tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and
  dusting.
•  Ability to use standard housekeeping equipment chemical dispensers.
•  Ability to adapt and move quickly from task to task.
•  This position is hourly. Candidates must be able to work Monday-Friday with rotating
  weekends, days and evenings.
•  This position is essential personnel; you may be required to work during university
  closings and during inclement weather.
