Advertising Summary: The VCU Department of Occupational Therapy is looking to hire 1 adjunct faculty to co-teach a 3-week summer course for Summer 2026. The course dates are from May 18 - June 5. There will be some preparation time prior to the beginning of the course.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate materials needed for the lab section.
• Teach one of the lab sections of the course.
• Grade student submissions for their assigned lab section.
• Work with students in their design projects to provide guidance, particularly in relation to the skills taught in their assigned lab section.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience teaching at a graduate level.
• Experienced with maker skills, such as woodworking, sewing, 3D printing, electronics, design thinking.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Salary Range: $4,000+ (commensurate with experience)
