Department Summary: The mission of the Department of Neurology is to provide state of the art comprehensive patient centered neurological care for adults, perform translational and clinical research to further understanding of disease mechanisms and develop new treatments, and train the next generation of neurologists and clinical neuroscientists. Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- MD/DO or MD/PhD degree (or equivalent)
- BC/BE in Neurology
- Successful completion of a neurology residency at an accredited institution
- Additional requirement as per the ACGME Common Core Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
Salary Range: Commensurate
