Job Purpose: Gonzaga Debate Institute Resident Staff play a vital role in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive residential environment for high school students attending our summer debate program. This position is for individuals who are passionate about student development, safety, and community building in a residential educational setting. |

Essential Functions:

Educational Requirement: High School Diploma or GED |
|
Years of Related Experience Requirement: <1 year In lieu of the educational qualifications, candidates may qualify with equivalent professional experience at a ratio of one year of experience for each year of required education. |
|
Skills & Abilities: Prior experience coaching/competing in high school or college level academic debate. |
|
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working with high school students in a residential, educational, or camp setting is strongly preferred. |
|

The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to offer for this position: $20 - $23 per hour
Pay Range:
Minimum Salary (Non-Exempt): 20.00
Midpoint Salary (Non-Exempt): 24.23
Maximum Salary (Non-Exempt): 28.44
